About Bob Stuhmer
I began my career as a freelancer
in traditional animation studios, working my way up the production ladder from cel painter to background artist and designer.
When animation production abandoned Manhattan for the West Coast, I reverted to my traditional art background from Pratt Institute, and now illustrate children’s books, book covers, textiles, and product catalogs for toy and manufacturing companies.
